Fresh Chevy Bel Air

When it comes to restoring your car, there are plenty of automobiles to choose from for your restoration process. But if you truly want your car to stand out from your peers, then you cannot go wrong with choosing the vintage Chevy Bel Air Tri-Five automobile. The Chevy Bel Air series is known for their historic look and vintage interior style, which can easily be restored just the way that you like it.

Authentic Chevy Bel Air Tri-Five

The most revered Chevy Bel Air models were created in between 1955-57; these models are known as some of the most iconic, classic automobiles made in the mid-to-late 1950’s. The three models have similarities and differences that can be pointed out by your traditional car enthusiast, but not as obvious by the average person.

Chevy introduced several vehicles in 1955, including the Chevy Nomad, Chevy Beauville and the Chevy Townsman. But the standout car for Chevy was the 1955 Chevy Bel Air Tri-Five model. This version featured covered headlights, a circular windshield and a six-cylinder base engine.  In its time, people considered the 1955 Chevy Bel Air the country’s first ‘low-priced hardtop-coupe’.

The 1956 edition has a full-length grill and a gas cap behind the left tailgate. It also has a V-8 engine with three Turbo-Fire base options of 170, 205 or 225 horsepower capabilities. Shoulder harnesses and padded dashboards were also made available, which differs from the 1955 model.

The 1957 version was one the more popular cars in the country at the time. It was designed with a unique body structure and powerful V8 engine. The 1957 Bel Air gives you the option of having a turboglide in the engine and features a unique side trim that is different from both the 1956 and 1955 models and is versatile because it comes in convertible or sport coupe editions.
